EUROPE PACIFIC COUNCIL BERLIN
We provide strategic advice and political risk analysis to governments, public sector, NGO as well as independent clients. To meet those clients’ specific needs, EPC draws on in-house expertise and on an extensive network of international experts. EPC expertise and research is also channeled into practical input, which informs and facilitates organizational change and institutional learning. In this, we also benefit from our clients’ deep understanding of the day-to-day practice of diplomacy, development cooperation or humanitarian action.
We conduct research as a means to engage with the real world in order to better understand and explain it. Policy relevance is as essential as developing conceptually and empirically valid evaluation. To this end, we partner with leading universities and research institutions, while following the needs that our clients face. Building bridges between academia and practice also needs effective communication. Presentation and accessibility of our research for broad and diverse audiences is thus tantamount. We also seek to stimulate and foster the public debate on key issues in EU-Asia Pacific politics. In addition, EPC regularly brings people together to exchange ideas and develop common initiatives. Through sustained debate and dialogue we aim to foster social and political entrepreneurship, build strategic communities, and nurture global leadership. Effective and accountable governance requires individuals who are creative, thoughtful and not afraid to work across and transcend traditional boundaries.
Our training program provides Korean officials and company executives with immersive training opportunities in Germany and Europe.
